EM Presents at Knowledge Management Conference
James Price and Brian Nielsen, along with their Perth colleague Lisa Read White, presented an interactive session on “Getting the Right Fit: Choosing the Right KM Initiative for Your Organisation” at this ARK conference in Perth, 19-21 October 2009:
KM for the Energy, Engineering and Resources Sectors
This event armed participants with the strategies and tools to develop a strong business case for cultivating knowledge management and collaborative practices across the energy, engineering, mining, exploration and industrial fields.
The focus was on discovering how to:
- Advance data and information capabilities through the use of knowledge management
- Put forward a case for KM development as a key enabler of improved organisational management
- Highlight the benefits of knowledge sharing through communities
- Generate new opportunities and stimulate discussion through collaboration
The event was held at the Mercure, Perth from 19-21 October 2009.
