Developing a Records Management Program

Course Overview

This one-day workshop aims to provide participants with an overview of the requirements, skills and knowledge required to develop and implement Records Management Program and practices for their organisation.

The workshop will explore the elements of a comprehensive Records Management Program, strategies for developing and implementing a program that underpins organisational goals and objectives, and defining the key phases of implementation.

This training is tailored to meet the requirements of the State Records Act and State Records Standards and Guidelines, in particular the requirements for creation, capture, disposal and maintenance of records
