Continuous improvement is the heart of the change process. In this interactive workshop participants are introduced to tools and skills that will help improve their awareness of what to look for, where, and how to fix it. This workshop covers:
- Information Process Improvement
- Understand who information/data customers are and what they consider ‘value’
- The 8 wastes in a data and information process quality context
- 5S for Data Quality Management
- Components of 5S in a Data Quality Management context.
- Problem solving, based on Snowden’s Cynefin approach
- Recognisethe type of problem presented
- Learn what approach to take and tools to apply
- Understand who to involve and how to engage them
- Change monitoring: learn how to set and agree measures and targets
- Statistical Process Control, SDCA & PDCA
Outcomes
At the end of this course attendees will have an understanding of:
- Continuous Improvement of data and information
- Proven tools such as 5S to manage data/information quality so it continues to provide ‘value’ to its users
- Waste elimination to improve service delivery
- How to sustain DQM efforts so they go beyond being a once off flash in the pan
