Course Overview
Effective Data Quality Management (DQM) Capability requires governance to ensure business alignment, resource utilisation, and communication to management and other key stakeholders. This workshop explores the processes required to establish the Information Management Capability. It covers:
- Establishing the DQM Governance Team
- Data Quality Health Check
- Assessing Stakeholder Satisfaction
- DQM Strategic Planning
- Establish/review DQM Principles and Standards
- Establish/review Job Roles and Performance Criteria for people involved in information management (Both technical & business)
- Building shared understanding and common language
Outcomes
At the end of this course attendees will have an understanding of:
- The need for proper governance and of the process steps required to establish a Data Quality Management (DQM) Capability
- The key roles supporting the DQM Capability and the required competencies
- Tools and techniques for building common language and shared meaning
