This half-day session provides participants with an introduction to records management and an understanding of how to effectively manage business information. It will provide knowledge of the activities associated with managing information in the workplace and participants will learn the key components of records management.

  • The lifecycle of a record, from creation through to disposal
  • The importance and value of records
  • Responsibilities/Compliance
  • Legislation, Standards and Guidelines relevant to records management

This training is tailored to meet the requirements of the State Records Act (SA) and State Records SA Standards and Guidelines.
